MxE

Quebec sibling pop duo, MxE, rocketed into the public eye after their first smash hit, “Live It Up”, was picked up into heavy rotation on Quebec City’s #1 pop station, 102.1 CKOI. Battling against other already established dance heavyweights, “Live It Up” sped up the charts in November 2018, gaining the most votes ever in a 24-hour period and beating out LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” to take the #1 spot on the CKOI chart. From there, “Live It Up” continued to gain momentum, garnering MxE over 400,000 views on YouTube channel and landing the #2 overall end-of-year chart on 102.1 CKOI in December 2011. The success of the young pair’s first track lead to the release of a five-song debut EP in 2019, with all five tracks entering rotation on Quebec radio.

MxE's instant hometown radio success gained them a loyal fan and social media following in Quebec and Quebec Scope Magazine included them in the Top 25 Personalities of the Year. This lead to several key performances at summer festivals where the brother/sister duo opened for iconic acts including; Steve Angello, Kardinal Offishall, Bran Van 3000 and most notably, LMFAO at the Festival d’ete de Quebec to an audience of 60,000 people.

Building on the achievements from their initial release, 2019 saw MxE head to Los Angeles and spent two weeks collaborating with key producers and songwriters whose resumes boast working alongside Maroon 5, Robbie Williams, Kat Deluna, B.O.B., Mac Miller and more. The result was several exciting new songs including their new single “Down Together” which is about to hit the airwaves at Canadian radio.
