Bingo Field

I guess it all started with the drumming. First on the living room sofa, then on the Smurf's cardboard jazz kit offered by my late grandma on the best Christmas ever, playing Van Halen's "Jump" and Nena's "99 Luftballoons" till the complete destruction of the said kit. Eventually came in the red Dixon 7 piece, and that was it for sports. Countless jam sessions, numerous bands, many crazy gigs, a couple of contests and a few recording sessions later, I started to feel like playing notes. The Universe responded promptly: my uncle Jeff gave me his old abandonned classical guitar with 3 strings left. Needless to say my first songs were written on 3 strings. But the real songwriting frenzy started when I got my first Strat, and especially when I bought a used 4-track cassette recorder, which proved WAY more fun than ping-ponging with a miked walkman and a ghetto blaster! Before long, I had a full box of tapes, filled with ideas, demos and kinda songs. At some point, I jumped on the digital wagon, picked up bass, keys, and started filling up hard drives, as well as a ridiculous number of Myspace pages. Then Myspace pretty much died, so I moved to Soundcloud. Now that Soundcloud is going under, I think I'm going vinyl. Or 8-track. Yeah; 8-track is the new hip.
